Rapid Resolution Therapy: Deborah Middleton continues training under Dr. Connelly
Deborah Middleton continues annual training of 25 hours in RRT in Los Angeles, CA, under the direct teaching of Dr. Jon Connelly, founder of RRT. Rapid Resolution is great for treating "ghosts from the past," trauma and general "stuckness." We have had amazing results utilzing this treatment approach. RRT eliminates the negative emotional or behavioral influence of traumatic events, whether these experiences are remembered, repressed or forgotten. It is not necessary to relive past events or experience any pain. The mind is cleared, organized and optimized. There are dramatic improvements in thoughts, feelings and behavior. Unconscious conflicts blocking desired change are pinpointed and resolved. As the root cause of problems is cleared, positive change endures. |

An Integrated Approach to Treating Chronic Pain
On March 6, 2012, Dr. Lillard participated in a webinar sponsored by the SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions and the National Association of Community Health Centers. Over 1700 people registered for the webinar and the feedback received was overwhelmingly positive. The topic, Chronic Pain: An Integrated Care Approach, addresses the issue of treating chronic pain while incorporating the specialties of primary care, pain management and behavioral health. Chronic pain affects millions of Americans, including those living with mental illnesses and addictions. In fact — as is the case with many chronic physical health conditions — behavioral health conditions are strongly connected to chronic pain, considering that behavioral health disorders are notably modulators of pain and more common among people with chronic pain. Dr. Lillard is actively involved with the pain clinic at the Community Health Center of Central Missouri in developing a treatment approach for individuals living with chronic pain that encompasses all aspects of health. The webinar is available for viewing here and the slides of the presentation are available for viewing here. |

The purpose of the meeting was to develop novel strategies and approaches to tackle the issue of chronic pain. During this meeting, Dr. Lillard participated in a podcast through the Center’s Bioethics Channel along with Dr. Karl Haake, the Pain Clinic Director at the Community Health Center of Central Missouri, and Joe Pierle, the Chief Executive Officer of the Missouri Primary Care Association. |
