Professional Experience:
Rhonda is at home working with couples, individuals, families, teens, and children. Her background brings experience in depression, conflict resolution, mood disorders, dissociative disorders, OCD and other anxiety disorders, self concept issues, eating disorders, substance abuse/addictions, anger management, premarital counseling, divorce recovery. With children, she utilizes play therapy to connect with the child as well as the parent.
Approach to Therapy:
Rhonda meets the client where they are at: spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically to assist them to heal to a new level of wholeness. By using Cognitive-Behavioral approach, the client is able to develop goals. Also, using Rational Therapy, Rhonda helps the client to reconstruct their behaviors to make life more functional. In order to achieve this, Rhonda will hold the client accountable through a respectful yet, effective dialogue.

Rhonda has been in Jefferson City area since 1988 but has lived in various parts of the world. She is married to Kelly, has one college age son, a daughter and son in law, as well as two beautiful grandchildren. On weekends, Rhonda can be found gardening, traveling, reading, remodeling, involved with ministry or spending time with family/friends.
